J Bernal hopes to obtain proper funding from generous sponsors to help him in his mission to provide and serve the underprivileged population, GANG, HOMELESS and LGBTQIA+ that he has a passion for. It is his goal to one day obtain some buildings that can be a shelters where CHILDREM, YOUNG PEOPLE, ABUSED WOMEN, HOMELESS can find as a safe haven. Mission statement: God's caring hands is a non-denominational nonprofit organization that is driven and dedicated to helping fight homelessness non hunger one person at a time. Todos son bienvenidos y bienvenidas, somos hijos e hijas de un solo Dios.
Background: God's Caring Hands was founded and created Juan Carlos Bernal Rey, (retired Catholic priest) he has dedicated his career to help improve the lives of the most vulnerable populations and Gang and women abused and homeless. He is a loving and caring father, whom has being doing this work for over 27 years. He started his work in the country of Colombia. It was in Colombia where he witnessed numerous accounts of young woman being abused, neglected, traumatized and gangs in United States of America as well. These first-hand encounters are what moved him to start making a difference and help combating an end to hunger, homelessness, abuse and gangs. J Bernal believes strongly in his work, as he calls it the ministry of the forgotten. People on a daily basis get so consumed in life and forget that there are numerous of people everyday that go without a place to sleep or a meal to eat. They are simply looked down upon, neglected, and forgotten. These are people that J Bernal has been called to help and does it so passionately from the heart.
